The challenges we face do not define us —they are only chapters in our story. Our challenges, growing pains and struggles are simply a chapter in the narrative of our lives. We have the freedom to re-author our lives in ways that highlight our resilience, growth, and strength.

Approach to Healing 🌿
I am motivated by the desire to bring understanding, empathy, and kindness to all humans. I believe that many of the struggles we face—big or small—often stem from unresolved hurt and a lack of empathetic connection with others.
As a counselor, my goal is to offer unconditional positive regard, helping clients foster growth and feel empowered to rewrite their stories. I value compassion, respect, and safety, and I strive to create a space where authentic connection and presence allow people to feel truly seen and supported.
Authentic relationships are at the heart of healing. Sometimes we don’t need the right words or the perfect advice—just presence. When we show up authentically and offer our full presence, relationships deepen, and growth becomes possible.
Academic Background 🎓
I earned my BA in Psychology from San Jose State University and am currently completing my Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling and School Counseling at Colorado Christian University.
Additionally, I am a certified yoga teacher, which has strengthened my appreciation for the mind-body connection and the role of mindfulness in the healing process. I continue to study and integrate practices that explore narrative identity, resilience, and mindfulness—enhancing my ability to serve clients with both evidence-based strategies and whole-person care.
My Counseling Philosophy 🕊️
I believe flourishing means embracing the uniqueness of your story. When we live authentically and in alignment with our values, we experience greater purpose, meaning, and connection.
In my work, I help clients externalize their feelings, seeing emotions as experiences rather than defining traits. Together, we reframe unhelpful beliefs, explore mindfulness, and identify core values—building empowering personal narratives that honor each individual’s strengths and future potential.

Evidence-Based Theories I Use: Integrating Story, and Self 🛠️
I believe in adapting therapy to honor your unique story and needs. My approach integrates Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness and Grounding practices, and Strengths-Based and Values-Driven work to support emotional healing, insight, and lasting change.
Narrative Therapy 📖
This technique helps you rewrite your life story. Instead of letting pain, trauma, or labels define you, Narrative Therapy helps you take back your identity, values, and goals. It shows that you are more than what has happened to you.
Mindfulness-Based Approaches 🧘
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, dissociated, or anxious, mindfulness and grounding can restore a sense of calm, safety, and connection to your body
Strengths-Based & Values-Driven Work 💪
Flourishing means embracing the uniqueness of your story. When we live authentically and in alignment with our values, we experience greater purpose, meaning, and connection. In my work, I create a safe space for clients to name their truths and re-author their futures in ways that honor their core values and strengths.
