The challenges we face do not define us —they are only chapters in our story. Our challenges, growing pains and struggles are simply a chapter in the narrative of our lives. We have the freedom to re-author our lives in ways that highlight our resilience, growth, and strength.

Approach to Healing 🌿
By coming alongside others, I hope to offer a nurturing relationship that fosters lasting change and supports my clients in achieving their therapy goals. I believe that healing is best supported through unconditional positive regard, empathy, genuine listening, and personal authenticity. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel seen and empowered to move through the obstacles holding them back.
I value a holistic approach that considers the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of life. By exploring existential concerns—such as meaning, personal responsibility, and freedom of choice—as well as the impact of past relationships and experiences, I work with clients to find clarity, healing, and direction.
Authentic relationships are at the core of my work. I believe transformation begins when people are met with compassion and presence, allowing them to take steps toward healing and greater well-being.
Academic Background 🎓
I earned my BA in Counseling-Psychology from Colorado Mesa University and am currently completing my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Colorado Christian University, with an expected graduation date of December 2026.
My clinical experience includes providing direct services to adults, young adults, and teens.
My Counseling Philosophy 🕊️
I believe that healing is both relational and intentional. By working collaboratively, I support clients in exploring their values, reframing unhelpful beliefs, and discovering pathways to growth. I integrate both cognitive-behavioral and existential approaches, while also drawing from other counseling theories and practices as needed—such as homework and mindfulness strategies that extend the work of therapy beyond sessions.
I am committed to walking with individuals through challenges such as:
🔸 Anxiety & Stress
🔸 Depression & Low Self-Esteem
🔸 Relationship Challenges
🔸 Addiction & Maintaining Sobriety
🔸 Family & Parenting Concerns
🔸 Building Coping Strategies
🔸 Grief & Loss
🔸 Suicidal Ideation
Evidence-Based Theories I Use: Integrating Story, and Self 🛠️
I believe in adapting therapy to honor your unique story and needs. My approach integrates Existential Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral, Mindfulness and Grounding practices, and Strengths-Based and Values-Driven work to support emotional healing, insight, and lasting change. I tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs, combining evidence-based approaches with compassion and flexibility. Holistic and Existential Perspectives
Holistic and Existential Perspectives
This approach emphasizes unconditional positive regard, empathy, and authenticity. By fostering a safe, accepting environment, clients are encouraged to explore their experiences, develop insight, and take steps toward meaningful change.
Cognitive-Behavioral Approaches
I integrate cognitive-behavioral strategies that focus on identifying and changing unhelpful thought patterns, emotions, and behaviors. This may include developing relaxation practices, coping strategies, and structured exercises outside of session.
Mindfulness
Mindfulness is the practice of intentionally focusing on the present moment with openness, curiosity, and nonjudgment. It encourages awareness of thoughts, emotions, and your body without trying to suppress or avoid them. Integrating regular mindfulness practice can reduce stress, improve emotional regulation, and enhance overall well-being.
